We offer club supported rifles (limited) until you have spent the required time at the club to be able to apply for your licence and then membership.

As a WASPS member, you have access to a range of shooting opportunities throughout the week. Thursday evenings are dedicated to WASPS Club Competition Night, while Friday evenings are reserved for practice sessions, with competition options available. WASRA shoots are held on Tuesday and Saturday mornings, and members are also welcome to attend other club shoots on additional days.

Absolutely! We host friendly competitions for all members, regardless of skill level.

Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are a must. We also advise wearing protective ear wear.

To get started, simply complete the membership form and visit us during club hours. You’ll attend three Thursday night sessions under the guidance of a full club member before becoming eligible to apply for membership.

Thursday: Please be signed in and set up by 6:10pm. A safety briefing will be held at 6:15pm, followed by the start of shooting. The range is often open earlier, around 3:00–3:30pm, for practice.

Friday: The range typically opens at approximately 5:30pm with a flexible start time. It may open earlier if Range Officers are available.

Membership for WASPS and WASRA aligns with the financial year. Renewal forms and applicable fees must be submitted prior to 30 June each year.

Use standard velocity ammunition only (less than 1135 fps). Hollow point and copper-coated projectiles are not permitted.
